Privacy Policy

The staff, services, equipment, servers and other technology used to run the World Society of Victimology web site are all geographically located within the national boundaries of Canada, and thus fall under Canada's Personal Information Privacy and Electronic Documents Act, as well as Canada's Privacy Act.

The WSV does not collect personal information on our users without their knowledge or consent. We do not sell, trade or otherwise exchange the e-mail addresses, web addresses or personal information of our users to marketing or sales companies of any kind, nor to any other victim assistance agency or organizations.

The World Society of Victimology incorporated as a non-profit corporation under the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany. Under German Telecommunications law, web sites of German corporations must provide an Impressum, a page containing direct contact information to the corporation's directors.
